David Gordon, in his article
The Meaning and History of Liberty: An In-Print Bibliography posted at the Ludwig von Mises Institute website, writes about his project to compile an annotated bibliography of "the 100 most important books on liberty." His working list of 125 books in print includes one from GKC:
