GKC on Mad Muslims
From this morning at Ignatius Insight: "The great Chesterton sums up the craziness of the past few days very well: 'These are the days when the Christian is expected to praise every creed except his own.' (Illustrated London News, August 11, 1928)."
Hilary over at the Devout Life blog has put up some of the most relevant facts in regards to the whole incident of Pope Benedict and Islam.
Apparently, the full text of the remarks have not been translated into Arabic yet, so western media can be the only source for the reactions seen thus far. BBC has also played an interesting part in the whole matter........
It is certainly true that the Pope's speech has not yet been translated into Arabic. However, the translation or non-translation has little to do with Muslim outrage. Any perceived slight is grounds for a riot.
