G. K. Chesterton once wrote that the reason Christianity was declining was ‘not because it has been tried and found wanting, but because it has been found difficult and therefore not tried’. So too with time management. There is no magic formula and circumstances – and interruptions – often seem to conspire to prevent best intentions from working out. I'm so jelous that you met Professor Wood. If he or Tom Shippey are within 300 miles of me, I would go see them speak about anything. I have just started studying Chesterton but see so much of what Tolkien and Lewis believed in his writings. Thanks again for your site.
