A serious advent wreath making instructor and former singer writes about a rather disturbing appearance of the Ghost of G.K. Chesterton. During the apparition G.K. "joked that while his friends Dorothy Day and Thomas Merton led lives that convinced people to help the poor and commune with God, that he, Flannery O'Connor and Walker Percy were quickly becoming the patron saints of people 'who just read all the time.'" I would add that he has also become the patron saint of those who like to smoke cigars and drink beer. Read the humorous post by Maureen Martin

Hello,
Thank you for writing about the Ghost of Chesterton story on your blog. So, who wrote the comment on my blog - Anonymous Joe or Anonymous Eric? Why don't you fellas have an about/bio section on your blog?
God bless, Maureen Martin
M.M.: That would have been Anonymous Joe. You can find a bio for Anonymous Eric on his vanity site: http://www.ericscheske.com/
